Central Park, New York City

It was a nice cold day before the New Year and we decided to spend the morning getting a little bit of sun by exploring Manhattan's Central Park. We took the subway uptown from Lower East Side and as soon as we emerged from the station, this famous vast park welcomed us.

We walked toward the greenery, and once we reached the beautiful Bethesda Terrace in the middle of the park, Enchanted's "That's How You Know" immediately played in my head! It was a wonderful patch of breathing space. No wonder most of the New Yorkers love to spend time just relaxing or exercising here.

This very huge park uptown is accessible from a lot of subway stations. Since we wanted to visit the Bethesda Terrace, we alighted from W 72nd Street station (lines B or C) on the West side of the park. We then walk eastwards along Terrace Drive to reach the terrace.
